MovieBird TechnoVision ST21 & ST30
Flycam Camera Systems is proud to announce the arrival of its recently purchased second Techno crane, adding to its rapidly growing specialist gear list and complimenting its existing 30ft Super Techno crane - the 17ft MovieBird crane with 4ft extension to 21ft. Introducing Australia's only 17ft MovieBird Techno crane from Technovision Poland, the MovieBird crane still retains the principles of a telescopic crane system. It is designed and built to offer limitless creative posibilities, to reach the most inaccessible places, to manoeuvre in the tightest of corners, telescoping in and out silently for that shot at a moment's notice. The fully implemented Millennium Belt Transmission System outperforms any other system in terms of speed, smoothness of the movement and safety. The main belt system is housed, making moving parts inaccessible whilst operational and far safer for the operator.
Over the past 24 months, FlyCam has been working and building a close relationship with Sydney grip company "Black Bishop Films". Last week we successfully tested our Bradley 350 GYRO camera on their state of the art Orbital Remote Tracking Camera Arm. This crane is a state of the art carbon fibre arm designed to be remotely operated from within a specially modified Mercedes ML500 or from the interior of a picture car. Unlike a traditional camera crane, the orbital arm has the ability to shoot 360 degrees in one continuous shot and from near ground level to a lens height of 3 metres. This unit is capable of shooting at speeds up to 100kmh. Both the camera Bradley 350 GYRO head and the arm are operated from a safe position inside the car. The director communicates instantly with the crane operator and camera operator as they are all in the car together.
FlyCam 4 Point Development
The FlyCam 4 Point System is virtually a flying Steadicam. It is a broadcast quality, robotic camera, suspended from a cable-driven, computerized transport system.
With its speed and maneuverability, the FlyCam 4 Point can provide a tremendous variety of shots such as aerial "blimp" coverage, beautiful crane style sweeping shots, and dolly and tracking shots that can span up to 800 feet. It is extremely flexible and versatile, the streamlined design allows it to be installed in almost any venue and cover almost any event. It is also fully weather resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
